What matters most on a stock chart

• Gaps. Overnight gaps leave unfilled zones that act as magnets and as stop-placement hazards.
• Session structure. The first and last thirty minutes carry most of the day's volume and most of the false breaks.
• Volume confirmation. A breakout on below-average volume on a liquid name is a different trade from one on a volume surge.
• Prior earnings reactions. The candles around past earnings show how the stock typically moves on news.
• Relative levels. Prior swing highs, 52-week highs and round numbers attract resting orders.

Common mistakes the analyzer flags

• Placing a stop inside an unfilled gap, where price routinely travels quickly.
• Treating a pre-market or after-hours wick as real structure on a low-liquidity name.
• Taking a breakout into earnings, where the chart read is about to be overridden by news.
• Reading a thin small cap as if the levels were as reliable as a mega-cap's.

Daily versus intraday

For swing trading, upload the daily first: it sets the bias and the levels that matter. Then add the 1H or 15M in multi-timeframe mode so entry timing is taken from a chart where the stop is affordable.

For day trading, the 5M or 15M is the working chart, but the daily levels still decide where the move is likely to stall. Uploading only the intraday chart produces a read with no higher-timeframe anchor.

What the analyzer cannot see

• Upcoming earnings dates, guidance and analyst actions unless they are already in price.
• Float, short interest and options positioning.
• Sector rotation and index-level pressure, unless you also upload an index chart.
• Anything outside the visible window of your screenshot.

Frequently asked questions

Which stock markets work?

Any market that produces a normal price chart, including US equities, European and Asian listings, and Indonesian stocks. The analyzer reads the image rather than a specific exchange feed.

Can it analyze a pre-market chart?

Yes, but the read will be cautious. Thin pre-market volume produces wicks and levels that often do not hold once the regular session opens.

Should I include indicators on the screenshot?

Include the ones you actually trade with. Moving averages, RSI, MACD and volume are all read from the image; a clean chart with two or three indicators beats a crowded one.

Does it account for earnings?

Only what is visible in price. If earnings are imminent, say so in your own plan — the chart read cannot know the date.
